"Thank you every thing you did for me. I was greatly helped every day in Cape Town and there was nothing that troubled me. So my six-day holiday was most memorable and happy in my life. Anyway I have to say thank you from my heart"
- Fukuichi Kimura from Japan

I’ve been singing the praises of Cape Town since I arrived back – especially Redbourne Hilldrop which I’ve recommended as the ideal place to stay.

Best wishes to you and Jonny, and good luck with the business.

Dave.

"Dear Jonny & Sharon,

Being back from a wonderful journey through your overwhelming SA we start to commemorate all the nice and lovely places and events we visited and experienced. And what we already felt when we left The Redbourne Hilldrop after three wonderful days we now know for sure: Not only was this an excellent start but this stay was also one of the nicest and most worth to remember of the whole trip! It was your overwhelming hospitality and helpfulness which made us from the beginning feel home in a foreign country."

- Rainer & Christa.

"We have arrived back in England to the usual grey skies and drizzle, but with sunny, fond memories of South Africa, especially of the view from your window.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome in your beautiful home and providing the directions to the best restaurants and sights. "
- Kaye & Roy Young from England

"Dear Jonny and Sharon

Safely home to a freezing Britain from your wonderful climate was a bit of a shock but we are slowly getting used to it.

Michael and Valerie Brooks join Margaret and I in thanking you for the superb time you gave us in your home during our stay with you in Cape Town and for all the many things you did which were "beyond the call of duty," like, for instance, both meeting us and taking us to the airport, which was very much appreciated. We all hope you will visit us here in Bristol at some time in the future until then we will remember the time spent with you and your family and wish you well for the rest of the year. With our kind regards"
- Philip and Margaret from the UK

"Arrived back in U.K.  We have had the most wonderfull holiday, particularly with your help guidance & hospitality at the beginning of our stay. Thank you both once again for making the start of our break get off to a flyer."
- John & Christine Taylor from the UK

"Anyway, the purpose of the message is to thank all of you at Redbourne Hilldrop for giving us the best possible start to our holiday. From the moment we arrived we felt totally at home. There you were in the middle of doing breakfast & yet you looked after us, chatted to us, dealt with our rather embarrassing amount of luggage (it got worse!) & even let us have our room! I'm singing your praises to everyone I meet (much of my time these days seems to be spent telling people how wonderful South Africa is)"
- Debbie, Roger & Izzie Terry

We looked at the pictures again and sighed over what a charming holiday we had had. Thank you for that truly delightful home stay that you both run. I will not call it a B&B, it makes it somehow impersonal and your place was anything but. Even as we were driving away, Sharon, with your arms windmilling, Sahir was asking us if we could perhaps, please, stay back a little longer. So we told him we had to get back to Jo'burg - pat came the solution - turn in the car in Cape town and let's fly to Jo'burg in a day or two. I told him that he was truly speaking for us all, but....

Hi Sharon and Jonny,
Last year in April we spent 10 days at your wonderful guest house where we found refuge when we couldn't leave SA due to the ash cloud from Iceland.
Well, during our travel preparations this year, we thought about both of you and how nice everything was during our stay at your place last year and we remembered that we had always wanted to say "thank you" all the time that we've been back home, but never did so.
So, that's what we want to do now, though rather belated: Thank you so much for your nice hospitality, your help and support! We hope to come back to your place someday.
Best regards
Birgit und Andreas
